This simple porridge is easy to digest, rich in calcium and perfect for growing little ones.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Sprouted Ragi Flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Milk (or water)
  • 1 tsp Jaggery (optional)
  • A pinch of Cardamom Powder
  • 1 tsp Ghee (optional)

How to Prepare

  1. In a small bowl, mix ragi flour with a little water to make a smooth, lump-free paste.
  2. Boil water (or milk) in a pan.
  3. Add the ragi paste while stirring continuously.
  4. Cook on low flame until it thickens and turns smooth.
  5. Add jaggery and cardamom. Mix well. Add ghee if using and serve warm.

Always cook ragi on low flame and stir well. That's the secret to a smooth porridge!
